All of our jewellery is handcrafted using recycled fine silver (99.9% pure) in our small home studio. Many of our pieces are one offs and will never be reproduced exactly so you can find a piece that is totally unique.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is silver clay real silver?
Yes, the clay is made up of fine silver particles mixed together with an organic binder. When the clay is fired the silver particles 'sinter' which means they join together to form hard metal which is 99.9% pure silver.
Will my jewellery be hallmarked?
Any piece that weighs 7.78g or more is required to be hallmarked before sale. Many of our pieces are hallmarked by the London Assay Office below this weight but it is not practical to hallmark some very small pieces .
Is silver clay environmentally friendly?
Silver clay is reclaimed and recycled from electrical components so is great for the environment and sustainable.
Do I need any experience of working with silver clay?
No, the taster classes are suitable for beginners with no previous experience.
Do I need to be artistic or creative?
No, we will provide tools and accessories which make designing your piece very easy and our instructor will be on hand with support and encouragement if you need help.
